Regina Farmer’s Market secures new location for indoor market

The Regina Farmers' Market will hold its indoor market at 2065 Hamilton St. beginning October 18.

REGINA – The Regina Farmer’s Market has a new home for its indoor market at the WA WA Shriners building located two and a half blocks from City Square Plaza on 2065 Hamilton St.

The manager said the new location will better serve customers: there are two parking lots and the space is twice the size of the Cathedral Neighbourhood Centre where they were before.

“I haven’t wanted to turn away vendors. It was looking like it was going to be that way again this year, so I’m just feeling so fortunate as a manager that I can inclusively have all of my vendors at this space,” said Ada Bennett.

The Regina Farmers’ Market signed a five year deal with the Shriners after having become aware of the opportunity to rent the building only in July.

The indoor market will begin October 18th and run throughout the winter on Saturdays from 10 am to 2pm.
