REGINA – Saskatchewan’s Opposition thinks the province is paying way too much for its photo radar pilot program.
The total cost is $4.5 million over two years.
NDP Deputy Leader Trent Wotherspoon says the price paid to Xerox for doing this for eight cameras is too much.

Wotherspoon said instead of getting a ticket from an officer for speeding, a picture will be sent to Xerox in Edmonton where an employee will look it over, contact SGI to get the owner of the vehicle’s information and then send a ticket through the mail.
An SGI official says they thought it was more efficient to have the administrative work done by an outside company.
