VANCOUVER – A 42-year-old woman is dead after a grizzly bear attack in Canada’s north.
The incident happened on Saturday in a community located 130 kilometres from Whitehorse, Yukon.

Claudia Huber was killed when a grizzly bear climbed through a window into her home, chased her and her husband outside and then attacked her.
Claudia’s husband shot and killed the bear but Claudia did not survive her injuries.
A necropsy has been completed and an autopsy will be performed on Claudia soon.
