KELOWNA, B.C. — It looks like the man who murdered an Okanagan teenager will accept responsibility for attacks on two other women.
In April, a jury convicted Matthew Foerster, 28, of first-degree murder in the sexually motivated slaying of Taylor Van Diest.
The 18-year-old was beaten to death three years ago as she walked along railroad tracks in Armstrong.

In separate cases, Foerster was also charged with assaulting and confining a Cherryville woman inside her home in 2004. And he is also accused of sexual assault with a weapon in an attack on a Kelowna sex trade worker in 2005.
Foerster has pleaded not guilty to those two crimes and was to stand trial in BC Supreme Court. But he has now re-elected to move the cases to Provincial Court which the prosecutor says usually means an accused person intends to change their pleas to guilty.
That will be confirmed at a court hearing expected to take place in December or January.
Foerster is serving a life sentence with no chance of parole for 25 years for the murder of Taylor Van Diest. He has filed an appeal of that conviction.
