VICTORIA – Axel Blomqvist recorded a hat trick as the Victoria Royals doubled up Saskatoon Blades 6-3 Friday. Joe Hicketts, Greg Chase and Chaz Reddekopp also had goals for Victoria (16-14-2), which scored four straight in the third period.

Ryan Coghlan, Alex Forsberg and Brett Stovin supplied the offence for the Blades (7-21-2), who haven’t won in six games.

The Blades play the Giants next on Saturday in Vancouver.
