SASKATOON – A woman was not harmed and police have a man in custody after a carjacking in Saskatoon Wednesday evening. It happened around 8:15 p.m. in the Pleasant Hill neighbourhood.
The woman, from Dodsland, Sask., told police she was parking her car in the 1700-block of 20th Street West when she was approached by a man. He pulled a knife, then got in the car and drove away.

The car was spotted by officers on Avenue P. A short pursuit ended when the car collided into a cement pillar at Avenue D and Spadina.
A 17-year-old was arrested and police found a knife in the car. Charges are pending against the teen including robbery with violence.
No injuries were reported and police continue to investigate.
