Green Party: Ingrid Alesich

NDP: Warren McCall (incumbent) was born and raised in North Central Regina. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Canadian History from the U of R. From 1997-2001, he worked for NDP MP Lorne Nystrom in Ottawa and Regina. McCall was first elected in February 2001 in a by-election, was re-elected in 2003 and 2007. He was voted “Best Regina MLA” by Regina’s Prairie Dog Newsmagazine 2006-2010.

McCall served a variety of roles in the NDP government including Minister of Advanced Education & Employment, and Minister of Corrections & Public Safety. He also served as Deputy Whip. Currently, McCall is critic for First Nations & Metis Relations. He also serves as critic for the Provincial Secretary (which houses the Francophone Affairs Bureau of the provincial government).

Saskatchewan Party: Bill Stevenson is a member of the Cowessess First Nation, and has lived in Regina Elphinstone-Centre for the last 15 years. He has worked with various organizations including the Indian Metis Christian Fellowship Centre, Morning Star Ministries, and the All Nations Hope AIDS Network. Stevenson obtained his GED (General Education Certificate) in 2005. Following this, he received a Bachelor of Human Justice from the University of Regina.

Currently, he is working on a Masters of Justice from the University of Regina and works at the Cowessess First Nation Urban Office in Regina as the Coordinator of Urban Programs and Services.
