LETHBRIDGE, Alta. – The trial for a southern Alberta man facing child pornography charges has been adjourned until later this month.
Patrick Bryan Ryckman of Lethbridge has pleaded not guilty to possession and access to child porn.

His trial got underway Monday with Ryckman acting as his own lawyer.
But it has been delayed until Nov. 23 while he undergoes a psychiatric assessment.
Ryckman was charged in August 2009 after a memory stick was found in a study centre at the University of Lethbridge.
The device contained several images of child pornography.
