EDMONTON – Alberta’s Education minister is offering several ways for people to provide input on the overhaul of the Education Act.
Thomas Lukaszuk (loo-KAH’-zuhk) isn’t limiting submissions to educators because he says “it is important we get it right.”

He told the Alberta School Boards Association convention in Edmonton on Tuesday that hearing from students, parents, grandparents, teachers and community leaders will help ensure new legislation reflects Albertans’ vision for their education system.
Lukaszuk is welcoming input online, including email, Twitter and Facebook.
To ensure everyone can be comfortable, Lukaszuk also says he will take suggestions at public hearings as well as by letter.
