Online reviews are a tool for the public to help decide where someone might want to get their hair cut or find the best coffee in town.
But this five-star Yelp review is probably for one institution that the public generally wants to avoid.
A former inmate at Washington state’s Clark County jail left a glowing review of the correctional facility, comparing it to Club Med.

“I have had the opportunity to reside here twice in the last six months,” writes reviewer Lucky V. “Of all of the places I have stayed overnight at, this is the only one that has a car service to pick you up…Oh and that ride includes a set of bracelets.”
The witty review also mentions a “personal stylist” that assists you while you change and the unique, space-saving stainless steel toilet and sink feature.
The jail’s staff tells KGW that the satire wasn’t lost on them, but they do want to point out that Lucky V. failed to mention that the personal cost of staying at the facility is incredibly high.
