SASKATOON – A Caswell Hill house was heavily damaged after a fire Monday afternoon. Saskatoon firefighters received multiple calls around 4:30 p.m. that heavy smoke was coming from the three-storey home at 128 28th Street.
Arriving crews found smoke coming from all three levels. A rapid interior attack was started and crews entered the house to search for people.

Firefighters had to use ladders to get to the third storey to search the upper levels as the fire had severely damaged the stairs from the main to the second floor.

No one was found inside.

The blaze was brought under control in just under an hour. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
