Tourism Calgary is hoping a touch of energy will help improve our city’s slogan.
Officials are thinking of replacing “Heart of the new West” with the line “Be part of the energy”.

The slogan will be used in tourism Calgary’s advertising this year.

The tag line was created by Calgary economic development in a campaign to draw workers and business to the city.
City officials have the last say, and will have to approve the slogan before making it official.
