NEWARK, N.J. — Authorities have released the name of the person who was killed after gunfire broke out following an annual Mother’s Day motorcycle blessing in Newark that left three others wounded.
Al-Shakeen Woodson of Newark was 15 years old.

The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office says the shooting erupted Sunday evening in the city’s South Ward. It was earlier the scene of the Blessing of the Bikes, an event sponsored by the Newark Knights motorcycle club to mark the beginning of the riding season.

Woodson was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Three men were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made.
