NORTH BATTLEFORD, Sask. – Saskatchewan RCMP say a missing man was found dead and are treating the death as suspicious. At around 1:15 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to the tragic discovery on the Moosomin First Nation.
Investigators say the man was reported missing Friday. A search by family and members of the community led to the body being found.

The name and age of the victim has not been released at this time.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning at Saskatoon City Hospital.

The RCMP’s major crime unit – north, forensic identification and Saskatoon police dog services are assisting with the investigation.
