WINNIPEG – RCMP have charged a husband and wife in western Manitoba with defrauding the province’s welfare system of more than $80,000.
In a news release Friday, Brandon RCMP say the pair are charged with Fraud over $5000 “for not declaring income earned while on Employment and Income Assistance.”

Police say the suspects defrauded the program of more than $80,000 since 2010.
Candace Bone, 46, of Shilo and Todd Bone, 41, of Sprucewoods were arrested June 13th.
