Favourable conditions for thunderstorms in SE Saskatchewan

A severe thunderstorm watch in southern Saskatchewan has ended, according to Environment Canada Sunday. SkytTracker Weather

Environment Canada says conditions are favourable Sunday afternoon for the development of severe thunderstorms in Saskatchewan. A trough of low pressure is tracking across southern areas of the province.

Storms may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and large hail.

The agency is forecasting thunderstorms to initially develop in the early afternoon along the eastward trough from Regina to Assiniboia. Southeast regions will see storm activity later in the afternoon.
