TORONTO — Two people have been charged in a stabbing in downtown London, Ont. after an alleged dispute over a bicycle.

London Police responded to an address near Dundas Street and William Street after reports of a stabbing on Sunday at about 1:30 p.m.

Police said a 46-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were transported to hospital with stab wounds and were later discharged.

Police took two suspects into custody and said the suspects and the victims knew each other, but the alleged stabbing had occurred over a bicycle.

Aaron Degrace, 23, of London, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and Amanda Dumont, 29, was charged with one count of assault with a weapon.

Both are scheduled to appear in court today and police are asking anyone with information related to the stabbing to contact the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
