SASKATOON – An alleged Saskatoon car thief has been captured in B.C. The man was arrested in Sicamous on July 4 in an unrelated matter and Mounties linked the 20-year-old to the Saskatoon theft.

The man was wanted in Saskatoon after a woman was approached on July 2 in the 300-block of 26th Street East and robbed of her car keys. The man, who was armed with a handgun, then took off in her vehicle.

He is facing charges of robbery using a firearm and wearing a disguise during the commission of an offence.
