Court case of N.B. man charged in connection with Jessica Miller’s death adjourned

SAINT JOHN – A man facing charges in connection with the death of Jessica Miller last month has had his case put over until the end of August.

Twenty-year-old Jesse Edward Reynolds is charged with committing an indignity to Miller’s body.

Miller disappeared July 9 from her hometown of Apohaqui, just outside Sussex. She was reported missing on July 12.

Her remains were found in a wooded area near Prince of Wales just off Highway 1 and west of Saint John on July 13.

Miller’s mother confirmed to Global News that her daughter knew Reynolds. Police have described her death as suspicious and say more charges could be laid.

Reynolds case will be back in Saint John court on Aug. 25.

Their investigation is ongoing and are asking anyone with information to call their local police or Crime Stoppers.
