WINNIPEG – NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair visited federal election battle zone Winnipeg on Thursday.
Mulcair is the third of the three main federal political parties’ leaders to visit the city, where it’s believed several ridings are up for grabs.
The rally was held at the Convention Centre in downtown Winnipeg. Thomas Mulcair was scheduled to speak at 6 p.m. and was live streamed here. About 700 people were at the rally.

Daniel Blaikie, Elmwood-Transcona NDP candidate, took to the stage to introduce the NDP Leader.

Mulcair will appear on Global Winnipeg’s Morning News Friday morning at about 8:20 a.m.
Mulcair last visited Winnipeg in November.
