HALIFAX – Nova Scotia’s Department of Environment has issued a boil water order for Porters Lake Provincial Park in Halifax.
A malfunctioning chlorinator is being repaired and provincial parks staff say they expect it may take a few days before the boil order can be lifted.

Campers and other park users are being told to boil the water for at least one minute before drinking, preparing infant formula, washing fruits, cooking or brushing teeth.
The public will be notified when drinking water has been returned to acceptable standards.
