A Saskatchewan man has pleaded guilty to the second-degree murder of his son. Larry McDougald entered the plea in Prince Albert court Monday afternoon.
Terry McDougald, 45, was shot after confronting his father over a property dispute in October 2013 at a rural residence northeast of Prince Albert.

Four other charges against McDougald were dropped, according to a Court of Queen’s Bench clerk.

Sentencing is expected to take place Tuesday.
Second-degree murder carries an automatic life sentence but parole eligibility can be variable.
