HALIFAX – An actor from the TV show “Trailer Park Boys” is using his character in an online campaign encouraging people to vote.
People can ask political questions to the character at mrlaheyvotes.ca and get specific responses.
“All throughout history, comedy is the way to drive the message home. It’s the most effective way. You make people laugh, they remember,” said Jeff Middleton, creative director at Nickel Media, who helped put the campaign together.
