A former Saskatchewan football player will face another trial on three gun charges.
The Saskatchewan Court of Appeal ordered the new trial for Adrian Charles, who played for the Saskatoon Hilltops and the Regina Rams.

He was arrested in Saskatoon four years ago after police searched his car and allegedly found a nine millimetre pistol with the serial number removed, along with ammunition.
A provincial court judge ruled the search was unlawful, but the Crown appealed.
It’s not known when the 25-year-old, who is from Toronto, will be back in court.
