EDMONTON – The wet snow that greeted Edmontonians Sunday morning is expected to continue throughout the day, with up to 15 centimetres possible, Environment Canada says.
A snowfall warning issued for central Alberta was expanded into the Edmonton area Sunday morning.

A low-pressue system developing over the central part of the province is expected to bring heavy snow for Edmonton, St. Albert and Sherwood Park.
Anywhere from 10 to 15 centimetres of the white stuff could fall in the warning area, which extends to communities as far north as Fort McMurray and Slave Lake.
The snow is expended to end late Sunday afternoon in Edmonton.
