Impaired driving charge laid in Sask. rollover that left one dead

One person has been killed in a rollover near Duck Lake, Sask. It happened Tuesday evening on Highway 783 east of the community.

Mounties said two people were trapped in the vehicle.

A 43-year-old woman from St. Louis was declared dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

Police believe alcohol was a factor.

RCMP have charged Guy Gamble, 39, with impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death, dangerous driving causing death and criminal negligence causing death. He is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon provincial court Thursday.

The cause of the rollover remains under investigation.

CORRECTION: RCMP incorrectly reported in previous releases that the victim was from One Arrow First Nation.
