STARS air ambulance and Kananaskis paramedics treated the young girl before flying her to the Alberta Children’s Hospital in critical condition.

EMS say they aren’t sure what led to the condition of the girl’s injuries but believe she sustained some type of collision on the hill.

There was no one else involved in the incident and no word yet on who she was with on the hill Sunday.
