LINDSAY, Ont. – Provincial police say a 92-year-old woman is charged with wrong-way driving on a highway north of Lindsay, Ont.
Police say the incident occurred Saturday evening on Highway 35, just north of Lindsay.

Investigators say an off-duty OPP officer was able to safely stop the driver, who had been travelling southbound in the northbound lane without her headlights on.

Police say numerous vehicles were forced to the shoulder in order to avoid a collision.
A Lindsay woman is charged with careless driving.
