WHITEWOOD, SK – Broadview RCMP have confirmed that a 25 year old man died in an early morning collision at the intersection of Highway #1 and Highway #9 near Whitewood.
The collision occurred around 6:30, Sunday morning. A southbound pick-up truck entered the intersection and was hit by a westbound tractor trailer. The lone occupant of the pick-up died on the scene. The two people in the tractor trailer were not harmed.

After being closed for much of Sunday both lanes of Highway #1 are open.
