TORONTO – The Neville-Lake family will be spending Christmas without their three children for the first time this year but will nonetheless have a lasting memory with Santa Claus.
The Neville-Lake children’s uncle had a photograph taken of Santa Claus holding a portrait of the Neville-Lake children and their grandfather.
Daniel Neville-Lake, 9, his brother Harrison, 5, their sister Milly, 2, and the kids’ 65-year-old grandfather were all killed on Sept. 27 after the mini-van they were in was struck by another vehicle in Vaughan.
Marco Muzzo, 29, faces a dozen impaired-driving offences and six charges related to the dangerous operation of a motor vehicle following the deadly crash.

“The only other thing that I can think of is just for everyone to please just be mindful that the reason we’re here is because children got hurt, children were killed. Please do not do that to others,” said Neville-Lake on Dec. 10.
Muzzo is scheduled to reappear in court in person on Jan. 6.
