During his year-end interviews in December, McNeil said he wanted to work with McVicar again. After the weekly Thursday cabinet meeting he told reporters that could happen while he is still premier.
“At some point I would if there was the right fit,” McNeil said.

However, McNeil says he doesn’t have a specific job lined up for McVicar, but re-hiring someone after they resign for breaching protocol isn’t problematic.
“Hopefully if you ever make a mistake I’ll be gracious enough to give you another chance too, and if I ever make one I hope you’ll be gracious enough to give me another chance,” he said.
