RCMP are investigating after a man was found dead in a home on the Stoney Nakoda First Nation west of Calgary early Friday morning.
Police said officers were called to help paramedics around 5:25 a.m. after a man was reportedly found to be in medical distress. The man was pronounced dead on scene when emergency crews arrived.

Another man, who was also in the house at the time, was arrested on unrelated charges and has since been released.

The deceased has since been identified as 28-year-old Wilfred Junior Amos of Morley, Alta.
The RCMP Major Crimes Unit took control of the investigation and an autopsy has been scheduled for Monday.
