Unplug and Play week kicked off in the Okanagan on Saturday with a children’s party at the Laurel Packinghouse in Kelowna.
Kids of all ages were invited to come out and play.

“When you put down your phone, when you turn away from the screen, there are lots of fun things that you can do,” says Success by 6 coordinator, Amanda Turner.
The free event offered a host of activities for kids as an alternative to video games, movies, T.V. and tablets.
Unplugged activities continue all week in the Okanagan, including a pyjama pancake party, a nature walk and a “try a sport” event.
