Edmonton police investigate 4th homicide of 2016

EDMONTON — Edmonton police are investigating the city’s fourth homicide of 2016.

Alex John Sinclair died in hospital after he was found in a vehicle with obvious signs of trauma Sunday night.

An autopsy confirmed the 53-year-old died after being stabbed.

Sinclair was found in the area of 119 Avenue and 80 Street at around 9:45 p.m.

Police are now looking for a man between the ages of 25 and 30 who may have been in the area Sunday night. Police said he was wearing dark-coloured clothing.
