SASKATOON – A 22-year-old man is facing charges following a drug bust last week. Members of the Saskatoon Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team (SIDEST) received information that an individual was involved in the trafficking of fentanyl on Jan. 29.
Investigators observed the suspect where activity consistent with drug trafficking was happening in an 8th Street parking lot and then conducted a traffic stop in the Grosvenor Park neighbourhood.

Three men were taken into custody at 7:45 p.m. CT.

The 22-year-old suspect was charged with trafficking and possession of fentanyl as well as breach of recognizance. He appeared in Saskatoon provincial court Monday morning.
No charges were laid against the two other men.
According to officials, SIDEST has arrested numerous people, some more than once, as it continues to actively investigate fentanyl trafficking in the city.
