An arrest warrant has been issued for a 25-year-old man in connection with a sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl in Nanaimo.
The incident happened on Feb. 12 along the railway tracks near Hecate Street and behind the Islamic Cultural Centre.

Kynan James Krogel of Ladysmith is facing one count of sexual assault.
He is a white male, 6’1″ and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He has light brown hair, blue eyes and often sports a blonde beard which he has recently shaved off.
If you see Krogel, do not approach him.
Anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to call 911, the Nanaimo RCMP or call Crime Stoppers.
