2 vehicle collision in southern Alberta sends driver to hospital

RCMP are investigating a collision near Lethbridge Wednesday morning that caused one vehicle to rollover.

Shortly after 8 a.m., a Chevrolet Equinox was turning left onto Highway 3 from Range Road 212 when it collided with a Pontiac G5.

The Pontiac rolled over and came to a stop on its passenger side on the eastbound lanes of the highway. The driver was taken to the Lethbridge Hospital, but his injuries weren’t serious, RCMP said.

The driver of the Chevrolet and her young passengers weren’t injured.

Coaldale RCMP is investigating the cause of the crash.

Drugs or alcohol weren’t factors, police said, but charges are being considered.
