MONTREAL – After 30 years of sitting vacant, Montreal’s iconic Olympic stadium finally has a tenant.
Starting in 2018, the Montreal Tower, as it’s known, will be the new home for more than 1,000 Desjardins employees.

The tower, standing at 165 metres tall, claims to be the tallest inclined structure in the world.
It was originally designed to be used as a training facility for the 1976 Olympics – but was only built 10 years after the fact.

About $60 million worth of renovations are needed before Desjardins can move in; the Quebec government is expected to lend $43.5 million.
The company will occupy seven of the 12 floors.
