WINNIPEG — A record number of missing persons reports were made to the Winnipeg Police Service in 2015.

Missing persons reports jumped 29 per cent from 2014, leading to an ‘all-time high’ of 8,894 incidents made to the WPS.

A majority of the cases were chronic, with 85 per cent of missing persons reports from CFS facilities.
