SAINT-LEONARD – After staring at a pothole on his street for the last three years, comic Tony Riccio said enough is enough.

He decided to take matters into his own hands.

He bought a bag of topsoil for .99 cents, grabbed a shovel and made a video demonstrating how easy it is to fill potholes.

“Potholes, bridges, everything is collapsing,” he declared in the video.

“I’m going to do something now – come and see this massive pothole.”

He fills the pothole with dirt and smooths it out with a shovel.

“Look at this job, how nice. Look at this. This is something I wanted to do three years ago,” he said.

“It’s not like I woke up and suddenly decided to complain about this,” he told Global News.

Global News contacted a city spokesperson, who said this was the first she had heard of the video.

The topsoil solution lasted only about a day, Riccio said.
