Toronto police have identified the torso found behind an east-end butcher shop and a man is now charged in connection with the grisly discovery.
The remains were found last week in a garbage bag behind the butcher’s and other businesses near Broadview Avenue and Gerrard Street.

Police on Saturday identified them as those of 30-year-old Melissa Cooper, of Toronto, and released a photo of the woman.
Officers arrested Albert Ian Ohab, 38 and also of Toronto, on Friday and charged him with indignity to a human body. He was due in court Saturday.
Anyone who had contact with Cooper or Ohab in the days before the discovery on April 19 are asked to contact police.
