LAJORD, Sask. – White Butte RCMP confirmed one male is deceased following a two-vehicle collision Saturday morning.
RCMP say the driver and lone occupant of the car was pronounced dead on scene.
Mounties aren’t releasing the identity of the male at this time. The driver of the semi was treated on scene for minor injuries.

At approximately 9 a.m. CT, White Butte RCMP were called on scene with fire and ambulance near Lajord, Sask. on Highway 33 after the crash involving a car and a semi truck.
RCMP confirmed the semi truck was loaded with propane, but no leaks were present.

As of 5:16 p.m., White Butte RCMP remained on scene awaiting the removal of the semi truck. Traffic has been reopened to single lane traffic but RCMP are requesting the public to take an alternate route if possible.
The collision is still under investigation.
