West Kelowna Warriors head to RBC Cup Semifinals

LLOYDMINSTER, Sask. – The BCHL’s West Kelowna Warriors have secured a spot at this weekend’s RBC Cup semifinals following the completion of round-robin action at the national hockey tournament.

The Warriors are seeded third with eight points and a 2-1-1-0 record.

The AJHL’s Brooks Bandits are seeded second after eliminating the CCHL’s Carleton Place Canadians with a 5-4 win Thursday afternoon.

The OJHL’s Trenton Golden Hawks are seeded number one after defeating the host team, the AJHL’s Lloydminster Bobcats, 4-1 Thursday night.

Semifinal games take place Saturday  but the match-ups have yet to be announced.

The RBC Cup Championship game takes place 4 p.m. MDT, Sunday, May 22 at the Lloydminster Centennial Civic Centre.
