Toronto Hydro says power has been fully restored in the St. Lawrence Market area following an outage Wednesday evening.
Electricity went out around 8 p.m. in the area circled by Front Street, Parliament Street, Queen’s Quay and York Street.
Toronto Hydro said crews found extensive damage to underground equipment and that repairs were ongoing throughout the overnight hours.
By early Thursday morning, officials said they were restoring power to customers “one by one.”
