A monkey raided a jewelry shop in eastern India and escaped with a bundle of cash worth about $190.
CCTV footage provided by the shop owner Ravi Kumar Reddy in Andhra Pradesh state’s Guntur district shows the monkey stealing the money and running away.

The video shows the monkey pushing open the glass door and rushing in even as a shop assistant tried to offer fruit to the animal.
Heading to the cash counter, the monkey pulled out a bundle of cash from the drawer, jumped over the counter clutching the money in its mouth and ran out.
The CCTV footage was captured last month.
