Workplace death at Montreal airport; mechanic killed changing tire

MONTREAL – A workplace accident killed a young mechanic at Montreal’s Trudeau airport Friday.

The 22-year-old employee at the company OK Tire was crushed while changing a tire on an airplane tug belonging to the ground-services company Swissport.

Authorities had no other details. The province’s workplace-safety board will investigate.
