A 45-year-old woman has been sent to hospital after being stabbed in Dartmouth early Sunday morning.
Halifax Regional Police say the incident happened at 3:30 a.m. inside a residence on Kennedy Drive.
The woman was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

While police were investigating the stabbing, a second call came in for a break-and-enter on nearby Lakecrest Drive.
When police arrived on scene, they located the male suspect in the stabbing.
The suspect is currently in police custody and the investigation is ongoing.
