A province-wide burn ban for Nova Scotia has now been lifted, with restrictions.
The Department of Natural Resources announced the changes via their Burn Restrictions map.

There are some restrictions still in place that apply to burning activity, including chimineas, campfires and brush burning.

For most of mainland Nova Scotia, burning is only permitted between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m.
For Cape Breton, Antigonish and Guysborough County, burning is permitted between 2 p.m. and 8 a.m.
The burn ban was put in place on June 24 due to extreme dry conditions in the province.
