One week after putting out a public plea asking for help with a food shortage, Bide Awhile has restocked its shelves.
On June 30, the non-profit shelter completely ran out of food in their Pet Pantry Program, which makes dog and cat food available to pet owners in emergency situations.
The shelter put out a call for help from the public, looking for donations of cat and dog food so they wouldn’t have to turn away pet owners in need.

Wednesday afternoon, the shelter tweeted they were able to fill their panty thanks to the generous donations from community members.
