HAGERSVILLE, Ont. — Provincial police say a 48-year-old man is charged after a badly parked vehicle led officers to a marijuana patch in a farmer’s field in Haldimand County.
They say officers patrolling on ATVs in the Hagersville area Wednesday afternoon saw a vehicle parked in the middle of a road.

Investigators say they determined that the driver of the vehicle had gone into a corn field and planted 14 marijuana plants after clearing a section of the corn.

The officers took a man into custody and seized the plants.
A Haldimand County man is charged with production of marijuana and is to appear in court in Cayuga, Ont.
